Bottle. Translucent coppery orange-brown body, medium clumping beige head. Nose a weird blend of metallic, coppery hops, caramel, and candy corn. Soapy, herbal body with caramel, toast, and toffee, finishing cerealy and bitter. The interplay at warmer temperatures was interesting and odd and I ultimately didn't quite know what to make of this one.

Bottle (backlog 2014). Slightly unclear reddish orange body with a small, dense off-white head. Strong aroma of peaches and apricot with a nice malt and caramel touch. Flavor is as expected mild malty with caramel tones against a good fruity hop flavor with peaches and apricot and medium bitterness. A fine and relatively complex IPA in the old fashion way, but I think still a bit more bitterness might be the trick.

(Keg at  Viisi Penniä, 20161209) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, herbalness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good bit English style hoppy pale ale.

0.33l bottle. This is a blurry one, deep golden almost a little amber in color and a nice big lasting just off-white head placed on the top. Fruity slightly sweetish caramel nose. It definitely doesn't kick you in the face but it's balanced with sweet red berries blended with a mild piney hoppy touch. Nice. Much the same in the taste also. In the mouth it has a light oily texture and it's just above average on the carbonation. Caramellish and a little metallic also, unfortunately. Red berry sweet and it has a slightly artificial candy presence. Tastes a little like a lager imo. Hints of butterscotch in the finish and aftertaste. A little odd, but fair enough. 28.12.2014

Hopfig getreidiger Antrunk. Milde, eher hintergründige Zitrusnoten, die auf konstantem Niveau gehalten werden. Bittere Noten sind vorhanden, fallen aber regelmäßig hinter dem Hopfen zurück. Rund. 10/9/8/9//9

Bottle, Market Street Uptown. Pours hazy orange-amber with an inch of frothy beige head. Aroma of floral hops, funky malts, and quite a bit of sweetness. I’m guessing I’m not going to like this. Meh, I was somewhat right. This particular IPA style that’s a hit syrupy and lightly sweet is not my favorite. Taste is burnt malts covered by pine and floral, but with a bit of sugar and bread. This is not too sweet, but it still has something in it I just don’t love.

Nagy, tartós, bézs hab. Homályos, sötét borostyán szín. Intenzív, inkább APA-ra mint IPA-ra jellemző, citrusos illat. Íze markáns keserűvel indít, amit gyümölcsös, kissé édeskés és enyhén gyantás aromák követnek. Utóíze hosszú, erősen keserű a komlótól, némi édes és gyantás mellékízzel. Testes, jól kiegyensúlyozott, kifinomult, kategóriájának kiemelkedő, tipikus darabja.
