Diablo is our flagship IPA, loaded with US hop varieties, dominated by the ‘Citra’ variety. Big tropical flavours & aroma punctuate, mango, lychee & papaya fruits abound, with notes of resinous pine leading to a lasting bitterness. A devilishly good US West Coast inspired IPA.

Draught @ The rover. Pours hazy golden with a creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity and herbal with lemon grass, grapefruit juice, crackers, dry soil, grass, pineapple, mango, lime leaves and hints of resinous wood. Taste is bitter and slightly fruity with crackers, gooseberries, lemon balm, lemon grass, green grapes, grass, resinous wood, pine needles, grapefruit juice and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent, slightly dry and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and herbal with grapefruit rinds, lemon balm, pine needles, grass, gooseberries, grape skins and bergamot oil. Tasty stuff!

Draught. Hazy light orange liquid with medium off - white head. Aroma of grapefruit, mango, weed, citrus, lemongrass, light caramel and biscuit/bread. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of citrus, lemongrass and biscuit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice but a bit boring.

Poured from keg at Euston Tap, half pint shared with Finn. Unclear, apricot coloured body. Firm lacing. Floral hoppy nose with hints of pumpkin. Resin and pumpkin in the taste profile added by a drop of malty sweetness. Dry bitter fruity ending. Has got its moments of joy. Quite heavy to drink, though (London, 05.11.2012).

Cask at Tap East - 06/09/12. Clear light golden with a white head that retains very well and excellent lacing follows. Sweet malt nose backed up with fresh hops and slightly perfumed. Tastes of bitter grapefruit, Seville orange and lends to a slightly sour kick in the bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, small head. Aroma kiwi fruits, gooseberries and citrus. Mid sweet with above medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Rich on NZ hops - sweaty kiwi, pears, grapefruits and gooseberry. Intense and tasty. Really bitter finish.

Cask at Bishops Folkungagatan. A bitter brew with modern pacific hops, fruity citrus, some resin and pine needles. Smooth and big bodied, almoast enough to balance all the bitterness...

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and sweet malty. Flavour is quite much the same with a crisp maltyness and finishes in a quite strong grapefruity tart bitterness. Also some zesty notes in the finish.
