Diablo is our flagship IPA, loaded with US hop varieties, dominated by the ‘Citra’ variety. Big tropical flavours & aroma punctuate, mango, lychee & papaya fruits abound, with notes of resinous pine leading to a lasting bitterness. A devilishly good US West Coast inspired IPA.

Re-rate: 330ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury.. still agree with the review below but have given this a slightly higher score due to bucketloads more grapefruit this time around. Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours deep gold, with a high carbonation and overly confident bitterness. Crisp, bold, zesty flavours on the finish.

330ml bottle @ Pannuhuone, Kuopio
BBE 31-12-13 - Pours murky orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of citrusy hops, lemon, cats piss, biscuity malts and grass. Taste is hoppy, fruity, lemony and citrusy with notes of biscuity malts and grass. Finish is sweetish, stingy and citrusy. A bit unbalanced IPA.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch DIA AAC, BBE 31-12-13, at Pikkulintu, 20130613) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice but despite the higher abv quite thin IPA.

Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm
Cloudy orange amber color with creamy head. The aroma is mild, with delicate peachy fruitiness, and very light spicy yeast, but also a suspicious sourness (very light). Smooth mouthfeel; good malt and toffee flavor, with very strong bitterness, loads of hop resins and and orangey character, bitter oranges, and also a strong yeast character; long final, it’s also quite earthy (soil, dust) in the end.
Good, but quite rough.
