$7.79 bomber, Wine Warehouse. Great name. Pours a murky brown with a nice frothy beige head. Smells of peach, pine, citrus, bubblegum. Taste is bubblegum, urinal cake, pine, citrus, roasted malt... very interesting. Reminds me of a Great Lakes beer, but I don’t have them near me to compare.

Sample at the DBLDP on 08/31/2014. Pours a hazy amber-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and fruity hops. Light-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, yeast and earthy malt.. The finish is fruity with a citrus and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle thanks to Jcwattsrugger. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose/taste of Belgian yeast, dried bread, grass, peppercorn, dank orange and grapefruit peel and spicy herbs. Some abrasive grain in finish. Medium body.

Location: Draft at Lickinghole Creek, 5/3/14

Aroma: The aroma has a nice mix of Belgian yeast and pine/resin hops, tropical notes too
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange-red color with a thick beige head and good lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, yeast/spice pairs well with the plus hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a clean, easy drinking feel, and a clean, dry finish
Overall Impression: I'll resist the urge to comment on the ridiculousness of the name. Anyway, I thought this was a very nice beer. Probably my favorite thing I tried on our trip there (waaaaayyyyy out in Goochland). Style-wise, it's nearest to a Belgian-style Pale Ale or IPA, even if that isn't exactly where they classified it.

Bottle. What a name... poured a very cloudy, almost muddy yellow-orange color with a foamy white head. Aroma was light citrus notes, orange, grain notes and a touch of yeast. Flavor was sweet malts, grains, earthy hops. Alright.

Apricot and coriander nose, candi accent. Cloudy ochre, medium firm yellow head, good lacing. Fruitiness is more subtle and drier on the palate, thankfully. Maltier and spicier, but in just the right proportions. Bitter twig finish. Fantastic balance. Body is thin, alcohol very well concealed. Hoppy, but not to excess and not in the usual way. Quite nice.
