6.7% version May 2013 from the brewery. Pours clear orange gold with a slight haze, needed a good swirl in my Duvel glass to get rid of some of the carbonation to release all the aromas and flavours. I really love Simcoe. And the aroma on this is pure Simcoe. Piney cat pee. Lovely. Really good in mouth too. Just delicious. So drinkable. Good bitterness on finish and that pure Simcoe pine sharp grapefruit finish. Gorgeous.

Bottle at the Rake. Clear copper thin beige head. Decent simcoe aroma. Even a bit of funk. Not sure. Bit hard in the mouth. You do get that with American style ipa. Very hard candy. Tastes its strength too. Its cool, if a tad hard 3.3/5. Re-rate at Bottle Shop Canterbury. 7.4% abv. Gorgeous simcoe aroma. Some creamy vanilla in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Touch of sweet alcohol.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy, long-lasting white head. The aroma is grass and nettles, leading to a grassy hoppy medium bitter flavour with a little dry spice and pepper on the back of the palate and in the finish. An ideal summer drink. Serve fresh and cool! This is the 6.7% version.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy pale orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent floral hops, loads of pine and biscuity malts. Flavour brings out pungent floral and piney hops, more floral notes, resin and just enough dry malt to back. Extremely flavourful, full of pine, resin and floral notes. Amazing stuff!
