moderate hoppy bitterness. Grapefruits and citrusy. Decent, but not as impressive as some of the other beers.

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon drank in a field at Cropredy Festival Saturday 11th August 2012 Pours hazy. cloudy amber with white head, plenty of yeasty particulates in suspension. Good thrusty hoppiness. Like this, however it is so bright I can barely see the screen to rate. A7 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.6

Bottle, think that I got this from Bottle Shop, Goods Shed, Canterbury, Kent, 16.07.11 consumed 27.07.11 Pours orange/amber hazy with white head. Malty with a thrusting bitterness from the off, hoppy burps galore. Touch of the tropical about this with a little overipe pineapple but then some orange comes through. Very nice beer. (Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passion-fruit, apricots, resin, Seville orange and lots of hops. Fruity, malty, hoppy taste with orange peel, caramel, marmalade, grapefruit, dried apricots and generous amounts of citric, resinous hops in a long, fairly bitter finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Very tasty and in very good balance. Excellent beer.

Bottle bought at Sourced Market, St Pancras, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, pine aroma. Tastes hoppy, some grapefruit, slightly bitter, malty. Just had this after the Motueka which I definitely preferred but this is still very decent as are all the Kernel beers.

Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of Simcoe hops, notes of citrus fruit, pine and resin, and not more catpiss than you need to say purrrr. Distinctly hoppy flavour, notes of grapefruit and pine needles. A very fine single hop IPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Amazingly fresh and luscious Simcoe aroma. Medium body, sweet fruitiness, again amazing peachy Simcoe notes and a dry bitterness. Just proves that Simcoe is an amazing hop... 080911

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy off-white head. Fat and juicy hop aroma. Medium body, low in carbonation with a very soft mouthfeel. Very peachy fruity with great Simcoe notes leaving a solid dose of bitterness. American in style yet somehow distinctly British. 170910
