Quite a dark colour for a Tripel. Aroma has caramelised orange. Flavour has bitter citrus peel and some spice in the finish.

Bottled, batch 8952, bb 31-07-2014, large sample. Hazy orange to amber color, big frothy off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, bit sweet, bit spicy. Bit sweet in taste, some caramel malt. Quite full bodied instead of dry. Nothing special, but quite ok actually.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, riped fruit, honey, phenol, light to moderate hoppy, orange, citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, riped fruit, mandarin, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131229]

Bottle @ Johns, Århus newyear tasting. Pours cloudy burnt orange with offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, ripe fruit. Flavor is malt, yeast, ripe fruit, spice, alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish. 291213

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light spiced and phenolic. Lingering caramelish and toasted. Toasted malty and light spiced.
