Malheur 10: rose-like, peachy aroma. Orangey, lemon-grass and lemon-curd, flavours. Rich, oily, honeyed, texture. Medium to full body. Big, orange-zest and a hint of bitter sourness.
After-taste
beer with a warming finish
Afdronk
bier met een aangename licht bittere toets

750 ml bottle from Winnoski Beverage Warehouse. Tulip shows a dull, hazy gold color. Nose is fruity Belgian yeast, honey and light spice. Lots of sweetness with the booze covered up nicely. Big fruit finish on a medium body. After it warms its borderline cloying. I liked it better cold. Still a nice sipping strong ale.

0.33l bottle. This one qualifies to what I call a massive top, that's white in color and really lasting. Perhaps even everlasting? All this on top of a blurry golden body. Due to the massive head, it takes a while to get the aroma of the beer itself, but when the head has settled down I get a mid aroma of banana, yeast, white sugar, wheat and apple juice. Not bad. It has a classic Belgian flavor. Light sweet, sugar sweet with clear notes of alcohol. It has a average carbonation level and a oily mouthfeel. The alcohol is not disturbing, but definitely present. Light metallic in a way before its leaving a prickling kinda sweet and floral bitter aftertaste that oozes of Belgian yeast. 17.05.2013

330ml bottle from bestillingsutvalget, picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Huge, dense chalk white head slowly fading over a pale golden body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing to the glass. Sweet and spiced fruity aroma, with notes of alcohol. Candy sweet fruity taste alongside honey and mid-sweet malts. Dry lemony hops to the ending. Soft carbonated. Noticeable alcohol. Very smooth in the mouth. Well bodied and balanced. Pleasing (TromsΓΈ, 05.07.2013).
