0.5 l bottle. Pours black color, with no head. Coffee and roasted malts in aroma, but not vividly enough, it foreshadows the taste as well. Sweet malts and coffee/toffee taste, but not strong enough, quite watery. Could have been better.

Aroma of slightly roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee, nuts. Flavour is roasty and medium sweet. Finish is quite dry. Mouthfeel a bit watery. Good Stout.

April 2011: 500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roasted barley, notes of coffee. Smooth flavour, moderately roasted malts with coffee notes, a slight acidity, medium dry, reasonably bitter finish. Nice enough.

500 ml bottle. Murky dark brown black with a creamy dense head. Burnt malt, toasted dark break, robusta coffee, zesty grassy hops, lemon, cocoa, some Czech Tmavy vibes. Dry toasty hoppy zesty bitterness. Medium to light bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty toasty malty slightly hoppy bitter finish. Good classic Irish Stout, as it should be.

Smell-weak malt. Foam-malt, roast, weak bitter tones, hops. Head is tiny, pretty much non existent. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Seems black. From-randim glass Taste-weak malt, weak hops, weak biter tones. Dry aftertaste. Seels a bit like Guinness, it's same style I guess.

12/1/2023. Bottle from Vin og vin, Hobro. Pours close to black with a small frothy beige head. Decent pour. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, ashy edge. Starts quite bitter but sweetness comes through more to give more balance. Moderate body, gently foamy carbonation. Odd butter tang to finish, other pretty decent.

On tap at Stone's, Helsinki. Black with a large creamy head. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and some dark bread. A decent one.
