Notater fra opprydding i Petro sin kjeller, juli-21 - en 0,5 flaske (bb. 270619) delt med ham: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Mørkbrent kaffe og beske urter. Tørr og allikevel ganske lav bitterhet. Sikkert en helt kurant øl når den var fersk, og den beste av de fem vi ryddet.

Barva nepruhledna hnedo-cerna. Pena nizka netrvanliva. Vune slad, karamel. Chut sladova, nizsi strdni horkost, dojezd suchy karamelovy (!) trochu dokysela. Chutny lehci stout.

0.5 bottle.The bottle and label are more modern. Deep, beautiful color leaning towards black, minimal foam, but nice brownish, remaining in a small layer. Quite restrained, earthy, biscuity aroma when cold, more and more coffeey as it warms up. Minimal, almost zero carbonation. Coffee, roasted flavors, a bit dry, medium-bodied, oily beer. When left warm, more aroma and flavor can be felt, it can also be perfect with cold roasts. A good basic stout. It would be outstanding with a little more malt, creamier, more full-bodied. However, it is well drinkable.

Az üveg és címke már modernebb. Mély, feketébe hajló szép szín, hab minimális, de szép barnás, kis rétegben megmarad. Hidegen elég visszafogott, földes, kekszes illat, ahogy melegszik, egyre kávesabb. Minimális, szinte nulla szénsav. Kávés, pörköltes ízek, kicsit száraz, közepesen testes, olajos sör. Melegedve hagyva több aroma, íz érezhető, hidegen sültek mellé is tökéletes lehet. Jó kis alap stout. Picit több malátával, krémesebben, testesebben kiemelkedő lenne. Viszont jól iható.

Ein wirklich gut und recht einfach zu trinkendes Stout aus dem Norden Tschechiens. Es mag nicht das große feine Aromenspiel haben, aber ist ein angenehmer Begleiter in den Feierabend. Getrunken auf einer Zugfahrt von Bratislava nach Košice hat es mich recht erfreut und passte zu den Reiswaffeln mit Nutella aus dem Schlafwagen-Fresspaket.

bottle from meny. dark dark brown to black, smooth light brown head. Very roasted aroma, but it does not last long. also a more watery metallic note, flavor is hard roasted, charcoal, dry, licorice, bitter sweet spicy woody note (brown sugar, rye, hard roasted malts perhaps) . Very flavorful, quite hard roasted bitter, but also sweet notes i think resembling brown sugar and rye. Interesting twist on an irish stout, some of the sweetness usually found in czech dark beer is still here.

Keg at piw paw. Pours deep brown, nose is raisin, chocolate, liquorice, meaty, taste is similar, thin. 8/4/7/3/15
