Vyladěnou kombinací šesti druhů sladů vzniklo tmavé pivo irského typu plné harmonie i kontrastů. Jemné a intenzivní aroma oříšků, čokolády a karamele se snoubí a zároveň hádá s drsnou chutí pražených sladů a suchým dozníváním ovsa. Dokonalý estetický vjem uzavírá hebká hustá pěna .

Tasting in Rome-Italy with daniele and Mortlach, bottle. Black pour with tick and frothy ivory head. Some caramel highlights. Nose: dry fruit, a strage note of BBQ. Mouth: still dry fruit, some caramel, rich in some way but do not expect coffee or chocolate.

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer and Whiskey Festival 2015. Shared with Dinko, Mišo and Shotgun Fred! Black with medium tan head. Grassy hops, maybe Saaz? Dark malts, toffee, nuts. Some coffee bitterness there, has character. Not really that well made in style, but good.

Dry stout from a Czech micro brewery, bottle shared by tderoeck, cheers! Thick, frothy, lacing, dense, pale beige head, black robe with chestnut brown edges. Aroma of cocoa powder, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds, black pepper, bayleaf, ’natural’ iron, hazelnuts, leather. Soft, very subdued fig-like sweetish onset with a touch raisin, light sourishness of roasted barley and faint umami accent, smooth body, caramelly malt sweetness immediately shifting to bitter chocolate and toasted bitterness, tad coffeeish in the end, light iron touch but feeling naturally, deep roasted sourishness and bitterness provides quite a lot of structure, bitterness further enhanced by spicy hops in the end. Classic Irish stout in terms of style, the genre typified by Guinness Draught, but evidently in a far less industrial form.

17/VII/16 - 50cl bottle @ home, preGF tasting - BB: 28/X/16 (2016-764) Thanks to Marie for the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, caramel, some coffee, bit herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, soft sweetness, caramel, bit hoppy, bitter, some citric acidity. Aftertaste: roasted, little sour, bitter hops, dry finish, really nice one, wasn't expecting such a decent dry stout at all!

Közepes, tartós hab, fekete szín. Nagyon enyhe, pörkölt malátás illat. Íze nagyon hasonlít a Guinnes-hez, egy kicsit talán savanykásabb és fanyarabb. Utóíze a korty folytatása, sokáig kitart.

Pours a pitch black, topped with a quite decent dark beige head. Pretty lasting. A hint of roastiness in the aroma, quite noticeable grassy hops. A bit burned feel with some liquor. Some chocolate and coffee presence later on. Mildly chocolatey sweet. Soury grains and medicine bitterness in the finish. Herbal aftertaste. Medium body. Not unpleasant or bad, though not too great either.
