From bottle at Cardinal with BHK 22.12.15. Ebony. Pale brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, pine and grapefruit zest. Medium bitteerness. Grapefruit and pine bitterness and dark caramel in aftertaste.

From tap at the Beerstore, Thessaloniki. Black color with beige head. Malty aroma, light roasted, licorice, vegetables, hoppy too, herbal. Sweet and bitter like aroma with coffee notes. Medium oily body with average carbonation.

Bottle 50 cl. Brown-black, average beige foam. Aroma: roasted barley, dark malt sweetness, citrus-fruity hop, pear, pie with caramel. Taste: velvety, textured, roasted, hop bitterness, dry finish. Good one.

Bottle 0,5l. Nearly opaque, brown/black colored beer. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is full and smooth, dark chocolate and roasted grain, pleasantly bitter. Medium bodied.

500ml bottle from Premium Czech Beers online. Pours dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of honey, metal, light roast. Taste is more of the same. Creamy texture, high carbonation; thin, sweet finish.

Quite dark brown to black, medium strong tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, caramel and roasted malts, not very strong, some coffee also. Taste is low to moderate sweet caramel and chocolate, coffee with a roasted dryish finish. Low to medium bodied, bit thin, low to medium carbonation. Actually very good, a bit more body wouldn’t hurt.

zapach ciemny, palony, lekko kawowy z nutami alkoholu. kolor ciemny, klarowny, piana dość obfita ale mało trwała. w smaku wytrawny, dość kwaśny , palony, trochę popiołowy. goryczka dość spora ale mocno alkoholowa. pomimo niskiej zawartości alkoholu grzeje w przełyk. nasycenie średnie do wysokiego.

0,5L bottle, BB 22.01.15 (ABV 4.7%). Pours dark brown-black with light brown head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, fruits, floral, a touch of roast. Flavor is sweet, roast, fruits, burnt sugar, and malt. Finish is long dry-nutty bitter. Overall: not bad, but there is something about it that I don’t enjoy.
