Tap. Pours hazy deep orange, medium creamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is dank, earthy, perfume, lightly tropical. Fancier is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, dank, hints of caramel, perfume. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong mosaic hop and floral. Medium mouth light hop, sweet malt, light bitterness, hides alcohol well, good IIPA.

Thanks to crajun for the trade. Pours an oily orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of fresh citrus,some pine and juicy malt. The flavor is clean and assertively bitter with a bitter finish. Lots of hop flavor for a Double IPA. Hides the alcohol well.

Aroma: It has a pretty solid fruity and floral hop aroma with some underlying sweet malts
Appearance: It pours a clearish orange color with an off-white head and light, drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is somewhat sweet up-front, fruity, malty, with a medium bitter later on
Palate: The body is medium, with too much carbonation, and a decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: A nice back of the fridge find! I enjoyed this one. I'm not sure it was a top-of-style IPA, but it is a solid one. It has too much carbonation unfortunately, which harms the drinkability and overtakes the flavor a bit too.

The appearance was a golden copper color with a thick two and a half finger white foamy head that ends up leaving a ton of sticky foamy lacing covering the sides of the glass but ends up spider webbing for the most part. Light carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell starts off with a bit of pine and then gently proceeds to a sweet citrusy honey aroma and adds a decent maltiness.
The taste was enticingly sweet and bitter but at separate times until it warms a bit and then it becomes slightly bittersweet together - I like it; dry bittersweet aftertaste; quick dry citrus-like finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a medium on the body and shows a decent sessionable quality to it - for 7.5%. Carbonation is good for the AIPA style and for me as it runs fairly bitter around my mouth and tongue.
Overall, I say this is a mighty fine AIPA well worthy of coming back to and well worthy of possibly consuming with its respected food.

Bottle - Leafy fresh pine and some tropical fruit. Hazy copper with a really rich beige head. Lots of sweet tropical fruit, followed by fresh pine and a bitterness that is a little overwhelmed by the sweetness. This is a good beer that would be better if it wasn’t so sweet.

This beer pours a clear copper color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrus and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a near clear orange with a golden hue and white heads that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice citrus/grapefruit hop note backed by light grain. Flavor has more grapefruit and a resin bite with a bit of citrus and light grains backing.

Tap at the brewery - clear light amber - a lot more malt forward than I typically like my ipas - quite a bit of caramel sweetness and some sugary crystal malt sweetness - the citric qualities of the hops combine with this to create a flavor not unlike grapefruit covered in sugar - strong bitterness follows, becoming abrasive at times - meh.
