Bottle from Hops, Crewe. Pours golden yellow with minimal foamy almost white head. The aroma is the usual Belgian mix of yeast, hops and spices. In the mouth it is somewhere between sweet and sharp with a creamy texture. Flavour has Belgian hops, yeast, citrus, spice and coriander, plus some wheaty hints too. Finish is slightly dry. This is nice – a typical Belgian strong beer which hides it’s strength well.
0.33 l, bottle.

A classical one, not so far than a duvel, rather sweet, sugar, notes of apricots, hop, a bit sparkling, well balanced, not so expensive 05.09.2018, buying it at the place de l'Aligre, Paris, drinking it at our flat, Prélaz, last autumn there.
