This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness. All these features make St-Feuillien Blonde an excellent and very drinkable beer.

Nice Belgian blond beer, not as sweet as most of its stylemates. Bit dryer and more bitter.

Bottle from trade with Countbeer, many thanks.Golden color with medium white head. Malt, apricots, hops and spices. Taste, sweet malt, honey, fruity sweetness, spices. Light hoppy bitterness in finish. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Good.

Bottle @ Wellington Arms, Bedford. Light yellow with a whirlpool of carbonation. The sign of a great beer (as opposed to one that is merely good) is one that you are happy to smell for a good 10 minutes, breathing in an exciting and unique aroma. Fresh and funky, hints of seawater and TCP. The scent of heaven. Taste is even better: a balanced salty sweetness with a bittersweet finish. Palate is like the kiss of one’s own true love.

Sehr mild-süßlich. Etwas wässrig, dabei fruchtig-hefig. Hat was von reifen Bananen / Pfirsichen. Nachgeschmack leicht alkoholisch-süßlich.

33cl Bottle: BBD 12th Aug 15, poured into a Duvel glass @ home on 5th Dec 13. Almost clear golden colour with a good head, could almost have been a Duvel in the glass. The aroma however told you it wasn’t a Duvel: this had a grainy and mild citrus note in the smell, along with some yeast esters. The taste was also a mixture of flavours, again grainy, citrusy and yeasty: crisp, sharp and leaning towards tart with a dry bitter finish. Nice brew.

Pale yellow with tiny off-white head. Belgian yeast, lots of cloves, banana, lemon, tropical fruits, soap. Medium sweet with a nice bitter aftertaste. Some sour notes, lime and apple. Medium body, above average carbonation. Overall slightly too much cloves and soap for me, but drinkable.

From a 330ml bottle on 15 October 2013. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium head which dissipates quickly. The aroma is typical yeasty Belgian blonde. The flavour features lots of fruit with a subdued sweetnees, some biscuity malt, and a slightly tart, vinous sour/bitter. Has a fullish body and a touch over carbed. A decent Belgian blonde.
