12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, spicy rye, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, spicy rye, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of yeast spiciness and slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good saison style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Cloudy golden body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of raw grain, spice, earth, clove. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. The velvety texture turns chalky in the finish. Overly grainy.

Light amber coloured body with hints of copper and gold and a very thin off-white head. Aroma of grass, yeast, hay, coriander seed and a touch of light spices as well. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes throughout with a strong malty flavour and a bit of hay on the finish. Aftertaste shows the complex yeast on the end with a lot of grass and hay and even a touch of sugars - a nice attempt at the style from Sam Adams - not bad, but certainly not as good as other offerings! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle brought to a hockey game of mine on 12-November-2014 - Thanks Ed!

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy dark orange with a finger of white head. Aroma of brown sugar and maple syrup. Taste is light sweet, follows aroma. Medium bodied with a relatively creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Not bad.

4 oz draft pour at ChurchKey during the Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru Launch Party. Semi-clear yellow with off-white head. Aromas of light funk, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of floral notes, citrus fruit and peel, light funk. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid, would like a touch more funk.

12 oz bottle from the fall variety pack. Aroma is doughy, spicy, banana. Pours a cloudy cantaloupe hue with a collapsing white head that laces a little. Taste is sweet and spicy with an underlying savoriness. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium, carbonation high. Really good.
