bottle - This beer has a very small, quickly disappearing head and a mild ginger aroma. It’s bubbly and sweet with a ginger led flavor accented by mild citrus. Light bodied. Just okay.

12oz can. Filtered orange body, thin soda head. Ginger, grapefruit aroma, more ginger than I would have guessed. Light to medium bodied, easy on the palate, refreshing. Leans heavily into the flavoring, but has some faint beer characteristics still. OK, not a bad beverage, but not a great beer.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a minimal sized off-white head. Lots of ginger on the nose, and some citrus. Not much else going on due to the amount of ginger. There’s some malty notes in the flavor, caramel and bread, with ginger, citrus and a little bitterness. Medium body, nice carbonation level, and mostly dry on the palate. Some bitterness and faint notes of metal in the ginger dominated finish. Way too much ginger I think, why do so many breweries fail to make a subtle ginger flavored beer? Of course, because they don’t want to, but still. 130829

Bottle from radimd, dakujem.
Amber golden color with small white head. Grapefruits, ginger, malt in aroma. Taste, malt, ginger, grapefruit, grapefruit zest. I know that, this low rated, but for me its good summer thirst quentscher and I would drink it more If I would have access to this.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a shaker. Pours light amber with small off-white head which dissipates fast. Grapefruit aroma, well/medium carbonation, medium body. Taste is grapefruit balanced by hops and a hint of ginger. Easy to drink and pretty good beer.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Houston, 21/05/13. Clear golden with subtle reddish hues when held away from the light, no head. Nose is stem ginger, sugar, caramel, herbal notes. Taste comprises ginger, fruits, light sugars, herbs. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet finish with light spice. Sub par fayre, not quite ’meh’ tho’.

Bottle. Strong ginger aroma. Clear copper with a small, immediately dissipating to nothing, head. Strong peppery ginger flavor, which overpowers everything else. I love ginger and grapefruit, and really wanted to like this one, but alas, it just didn’t work. Light body and carbonation.
