330ml bottle [from bartlebier.fr, thank you very much!]. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Complex dark malty and yeasty aroma, notes of coffee beans, cocoa powder, fruity notes of plum and blue grapes, lots of subtle flavours from cinnamon via marmite and treacle to balsamico. Taste is tart-ish, roasty dark malty with subtle sweetness, yeasty overtones. a vinous touch, notes of coffee beans and espresso, cocoa powder, fruity notes of plum, blue grapes and red berries, a touch of balsamico and cola, cautious hints of cinnamon and marmite. Very good.

Bottle. Light sourness, which does not seem noble to me, but rather like a beer heading down the spoilage avenue. Other than that it is sugary with moderate roast and considerable warmth.

Monumentális, a végtelenségig tartó, tömör, kávébarna hab, fekete szín. Feketecsokis, kakaós, kissé konyakos illat. Feketecsokis, pörkölt malátás, kissé kakaóporos ízvilág, enyhe hordós, vörösboros aromával. Közepesen testes, enyhe szénsavtartalommal és keserűvel. Jól kiegyensúlyozott, nagyon finom sör.

Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a small tan head. Patchy lacing. Aroma of underripe fig, Dr Pepper and berries. Flavour of prune, Coco-Cola and a sour blackcurrant finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizzy carbonation. A strange beer - like a Porter blended with a Sour.

The beer is black with a fizzy light brown head. A little bit of lacing. Head mostly fizzles away after a minute. The aroma is roast and light funky sourness. Some fruit flavor in there - plum, apricot, berry. Cola, a bit nutty. Taste is moderately tart. It has the characteristic roast turned to fruitiness of a dark sour, but it’s not overly intense. More berry roast fruitiness in the taste. It’s a fairly restrained and pleasant dark sour, but the flavor just doesn’t really pull me in. There’s some chocolatey porter flavor, some caramel, that tart berry, roast, cola, a touch of balsamic vinegar. It’s not bad, but there’s too much roast flavor for me without other stuff going on. Medium to light body. Some prickly carbonation.
