Bottle at St Albans BF 09. Hazy copper with lasting beige head. Puke, sweet NL malt aroma which I don’t like. Some hop on end. Really quite poor.

Bottle, 6.8%. OK malty aroma, hint of Belgian yeast, brown sugar, slightly spicy. Amber colour, many small floaties. The flavour is sweet and nicely spicy with a little fat Belgian yeast. Medium bitterness.

On tap. Hazy amberblond beer, white head. Aroma of flowers, malts and hops. Flavour is bittersweet, a bit malty with some hoppy notes. Wasn’t as good as I hoped.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. 6.8% ABV on this label. Hazy, amber golden with floating impurities and a dense, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Fairly full-bodied with plenty of malt, lightly sweet, fruity accents and a fairly bitter finish. But a Bitter at 6.8%? Not really, aye? 191207
