More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Grapefruit, malt toffee and something herbal. Fennel and ...anise? Reminded me of cough drops quite a bit. Bottle maybe not fresh enough.

2016 catch up - Can at home. A very smooth and easy drinking IPA. Gentle hops and some malt which gave a very satisfying mouth feel. I would happily drink it again and it was quite a reasonable price for an American IPA of this high quality.

Bottle from Yeme. Mission impossible to make any sort of head. On the other hand, it has everything IPA should have. Citrus aroma and taste and nice bitter finish. An okay beer.

Can from Spoons in Eastbourne. Had high hopes from nice aroma but the alcohol seems to be the main stay of this beer. Not a big enough flavour profile to hold the %. (Pre ratebeer rating) ---- Bottle from Systembolaget. I disnt need to change this much despite the years. This is way too boozy without any real depth. All you get is west coast hops muting in the background and the visceral thump of alcohol. 2.3 to 2.5.

12oz bottle at the Monks Retreat, Reading. A slightly hazy, pale amber pour with a tight white head; piney aroma; and a resinous piney taste with a fresh leafy hop bitterness and some sharp lemon; then a long quinine finish.

From 33 bottle. Pours hazy, loaded gold with medium foam, very fine. Aroma is herbaceous, citrus, and resinous. Body is medium, maybe a little dense. Taste is markedly bitter, to the point a little astringency is felt. Finish had some additional bitterness.
