More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Loved the original Snake Dog - was one of my favorite IPAs back in the day. Let’s see what they replaced it with. Bottle from Total Wine & More - West Richmond. Clear golden, dusting of a white head. Aroma of sweet & sour citrus hops, apricot as well. Flavor is floral-fruity - mango, apricot, some citrus hops, and lightly floral. Finishes slightly metallic. Not as good as the original, if memory serves me correctly.

0.355 l can from ’Biermuda’, best before July 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity and a bit resiny aroma of mango, orange jam, tangerine and some pine. Sweetish, quite fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, orange jam, some honey and a touch of pine, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly resiny and a bit dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle at Tilly Shilling, Farnborough. Clean aroma - hops and sugar. Attractive hazy amber. Dregs of an off-white head. A crisp bitterness. Creamy. Dry finish. The hops come through but not OTT.
