On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Orange to brown colour, no head. Slightly sourish and oaky aroma. Moderately sour and distinctly oaky flavour, also distinct bittering hops in the finish and aftertaste.

Flaska från Emil, tack! Bäst före 2016 på flaskan. Orange, disig med vitt skum. Snäll kryddigt i doft och smak med toner av honung, spannmål, aprikos, citrus och nyponsoppa. Något svårplacerad, men helt ok.

Bottle. Chocolate caramel malt, light barnyard, and hay aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Mildly sweet chocolate caramel malt, and mildly bitter/astringent hay flavor. Barnyard/cedar flavor in the finish. Interesting - pretty dry.

Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy chestnut body with no head or lacing. Aroma of malt vinegar, nuts and red apple. Flavour of sour apple, bitter lemon and a hint of cinnamon. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Overly sour for my liking.
