Tap at the Essen OBER Kerstbierfestival 2013. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is rich acid medicinal yeast. The flavour is veggie herb with a light liqourice bitter palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation.

Toll! Vielen Dank an Kölschtrinker!
Test vom 24.1.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,13,12,12,12,13 - 12,55

750 ml bottle in the campgrounds after the 9th Belgian Brew Fest in Lovell, ME. Nose is fruity and lightly funky basement. Notes of floral hops and some type of citrus zest. The flavor is straight forward and the same as the aroma. Medium body and dry texture. Good balance of citrus and light funk. This brew was a nice surprise and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a strong note of woodiness and cheese (a hint of blue) with underlying light flora and sweet grains. Flavor has a good amount of musty as well with light cheese and wood notes with a bit of underlying light sweetness and light floral.
