Pours fuzzy yellow small white head. Smell is lemonish. Taste is refreshing, citrussy ( lemon) bit sweet. Some tiny sourness. Bit high carbo ( guess its the style) . Rather thin mouthfeel. Very crispy though. Nice

Hazy light yellow and white. Very faint Banana hammock and coriander. Yeah. For sure has winter spices. Clove and honey and brandy with banana Esthers. Finish is spicy and sweet

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/15/2013. Pours opaquely hazy bright golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, banana, pear, apple, orange, wheat, bread, floral, grass, clove, pepper, herbal, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/spicy yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, banana, pear, apple, orange, wheat, bread, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon, banana, pear, apple, orange, wheat, bread, clove, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast ester and malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and very smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present on the finish. Overall this is a damn nice witbier. All around good complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast ester and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Rcvd in trade; It has a hazy light golden yellow colored body with a soft white head that gets slightly lumpy; lacing is mostly sporadic and clings adequately to the glass; the smell has some cloves and wheat up front, nice Belgian yeasty and fruitiness backing that up fairly well; the taste takes the previously mentioned flavors and adds a bready sort of flavoring to heighten the flavoring; sweet sticky fruity aftertaste, somewhat of a dry clove-like finish; its fairly easy on the palate and somewhat sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and for me as there’s an adequate harshness for a good witbier but not overly done; overall, its not as spicy as some witbiers I’ve had, but hey, still pretty good for the style and for me, I’d have this again

Poured from a bottle it is a vloudybgolden ale with a slight head. The aroma is c8trus and pineapple. The taste is rather bittersweet with a hint of apple that resonated on the palate

330mL bottle at Zayda Buddy's, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, Belgian yeast and lemon zest. Flavour of citrus, light wheat and Belgian yeast, also a hint of banana. Drinks smoothly enough, with dominating notes of Belgian yeast and citrus. Decent stuff, but what can you really do with this style. Nothing special.

Bottle at home in CT. Pous cloudy orange with a small, foamy white head. Plenty of coriander and citrus fruits on the nose. Medium sweet flavor, crisp and lightly doughy malts, coriander, bread, hints of alcohol. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with faintly toasted hay, some wheat, yeast, doughy bread, spices. A simple, tasty wit.

Good for style. Aroma of bread yeast and banana. Some clove and ginger here too. Pours golden with a little haze. No lacing or much head. Medium carbonation. Taste slightly sour with note of astringency. On tap at brewpub.
