Butelka 0.33l (05.02.2018). Piwo klarowne o zlotej barwie i bialej, obfitej pianie, niezbyt trwalej i praktycznie niekrazkujacej. W aromacie i smaku bez jakichs wyrazniejszych nut dominujacych. Jest przyprawowo-pieprzowe, troche slodowe, minimalnie estrowe, delikatnie musujace, subtelne i delikatne, ale calosc jakosc nie powala. Przyzwoite, lekkie w odczuciu, w miare pijalne piwo. Duzy plus za swietnie ukryty alkohol.

Bottle @ home. Golden colour, white foam. Lively carbonation. Fruity aroma with notes of banana. Also some mettalic hints. Ok tripel.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian, thanks a lot. Pours clear golden with a white head. Mild malty and fruity aroma with notes of Belgian yeast. Medium sweet, moderate flavour intensity, but fairly pleasant. Finishes somewhat dry and lightly spicy and bitter. Fair enough.

Appearance is golden, a solid one finger white head, plenty of bubbles rising. Aroma- spice, fruity, sweet banana, caramel hints. Taste- quite hoppy, medium to full mouthfeel, banana, honey, sugary sweetness, creamy malt, bittersweet finish. Good.

0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee), BB 26.06.17. Pours clear golden with huge off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is metallic, sweet, malt, grains. Flavor is sweet, yeast, spices, malt and some alcohol. Finish is yeasty dry bitter. Overall: drinkable, but not enjoyable.

The tripel in this series, nowadays called Petrus Gouden Tripel; hazy golden blonde, thick frothy head; malt sweet character, some estery fruitiness, honeyish touch, iron, a lot of carbonation (actually somewhat overcarbonated for the style); sweet in a dull kind of way, grainy, yeasty, sourish touch, mild grassy hops in the finish but not nearly enough to balance out the sweetness. Clearly a tripel aimed at a wide audience but too sweet and bland for my taste, there are many more interesting examples of the style around in Belgium alone.
