Bottle. Malty aroma, light belgian yeast notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty bitter sweet finish. Average.

Bottle with 8.0% abv on the label. Pours with an okay but not so dense head and medium gold body. Nice yeast and grain on the nose, balanced. Flavour is strong lager adjuncts, sweetness, sugary syrup. Sweet mouthfeel. Okay I suppose but all that alcohol and sugar is cloying.

Bottle from Lidl And works much better with me than dubbel. Still it's not very classic Belgian. Like yeast feels different, but it's good. Cheers.

Bottle at Petrus Safe, Ieper. 7th Mj 500 beer on this trip. Bright golden, medium head, effervescent. Malty, lightly fruity nose, esters, peaches, bread, honey. Slightly sweet and quite fruity, citrus, stone fruit, some honey. Fizzy and somewhat crisp despite being sweet. Peppery finish of hops and booze. This has certainly been surpassed by many golden strong ales, but Still a decent tripel.

Pours clear goldn colour, topped with a huge, gushing and very foamy white head. Mild yeasty nose with some gentle fruitiness. Sweet start, malty with some fruitiness, sharp yeastiness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste lasting and slightly soury actually. Lighter body. Meh.

Fles 33cl thuis als Petrus Gouden Tripel. Redelijk eigenzinnig, zachtzoet, geel fruit, licht kruidig, scherpig, lange wat bittere nadronk. Lekker. (12-2010).

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of yeast, wheat, dark fruit and grass. Clear deep golden color with medium creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet and rich toasted malt and caramel, following is grainy, dusty and alcoholic, mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while finish is medium bitter. Medium to full body, thick sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. A bit artificial and too boozy...
