A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower: This aromatic IPA was named by Scott's daughter. It pours a deep gold with aroma's of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, with a lingering floral elderflower aftertaste. An extraordinary brew.

500ml bottle by the courtesy of Finn, shared with him and MrSoul at a drinking session. Unclear, gold-amber body, a beige head can be agitated. Floral fruity aroma with a touch of mid-sweet malts beneath. Elderflower, leafy hops and caramel malts to the taste buds. Moderate bittersweet end. Refreshing (at Finns in Tromsø, 22.09.2011).

Gott!

Bottle from Tesco Danestone, Aberdeen. It pours golden yellow with a very thin, bubbly off-white head. The nose is floral, orange, red apple and red grape. The taste is floral, zesty lemon, orange, cereal, bread, hay, straw and metal, with a light bitter finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation.

50cl bottle from Systembolaget. Poured clear golden with a thin white head. Lovely citrus hoppy and floral aroma. Flavor is lots of citrus with some grassy notes, bitter finish. Thin, but quite enjoyable. could well have this as a session beer anytime.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium frothy head. Aroma is nutty and yeasty, very Belgian-esque. Elderflowers underneath. Taste has elderflowers to start. More on the yeasty, bitter finish, with a very floral aftertaste.

Cask @ the Caley Sample Room. Pours a hazy amber with a good head and no bubbles. The nose has next to nothing initially - seems trapped under the head. Then it develops into a grainy/biscuity/gingerbread note which is quite pleasant. The taste is initially of cake mixture, then it falls away into oxidised cooked vegetables, then a finish that’s just malty. The palate is medium in structure and texture but there is no clean on the end. This is god-damned awful from a good brewer.

Leicht hopfig, passend. 6/9/9/8//9
