Decent West Coast beer, but I've often found myself expecting more than these guys deliver with their IPAs. They are awesome with their sours, saisons and other Belgian styles. Their IPAs are usually just merely good. Pine and a little grapefruit peel. Pours clear golden with decent head. Bitter end. Tap at Churchkey.

Aromas are slightly old resin and citrus with malt. Flavors are a little better than nose It was citrus coming out more. Bittersweet. I wouldn't want another.

473ml can. Slightly hazed golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, grapefruit, herbal. Taste of sweet caramel, orange, grapefruit, herbal, dank, moderate piney bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid westie, not massively bitter but enough there.

Large loose foamy white head on a hazy vivid golden coloured body.
Bubble gum, citrus & tropical aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with sharp back.
Boiled sweets on front quickly followed by pine, resinous & citrus tastes with a malt backbone & bitterly hopped finish.
A bit old school - Well balanced - Very nice indeed.
