Orange with a frothy, white head that lingers. Aroma promises orange peel and spice with just touches of candy and dankness. Taste is bitter the whole way through. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, quite dry at the end. The alcohol remains perfectly hidden. Pleasant.

Goudkleurig bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is krachtig en kruidig met iets van abrikoos, wat perzik en een vleug vanille.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours light amber, fairly transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, malty and caramel. Body is partially dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet, with good bitterness too. Final is fairly long with medium bitterness.

I possess this 33 cl bottle of Grande 10 after a purchase early this year from Belgian Happiness. Best by May 23, 2027 it says on the label. I break out the New Belgium globe glass for the tastings this evening and make the pour. It is on the dark end of yellow in color, semi-hazy and topped with a creamy head of almost pure white foam that has lacing potential. It pushes the right buttons with the nose, I determine nectarine, candy and a definite yeasty presence. The taste is just as good. Apricots, white bread, a hint of peaches, something fieldy, honey and yeast. I get a bit of bitterness at the end. Better than anticipated.

Fles 33cl thuis. Belgisch gist, kruidig, zoetig, krachtig, caramel, bitters, fruitig, banaan, honingtoets, orange peel, malttonen. (14-5-2021).
Wat notige tripel, met wat kruidige hop en dat appelmoesachtige in de smaak wat sommige Belgian strong ales kunnen hebben.

Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, strong booze, strong spices. Citrus fruity edges. Full body, prickly boozy bubbles. Pretty decent and puckering strong Belgian shelfie.
