750 ml dark green capped bottle, as La Rulles Bière de Gamme La Grande 10 Millesime 2011, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. ABV is 10%. Deep golden colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. Strong and pleasant "typically Belgian" aroma, with spicy and fruity notes. The flavour is medium sweet and spicy, notes of malts, alcohol and some fruit. Noticeable hops in the finish. Pretty good stuff, only drawback is that the alcohol is not very well hidden.

Medium offwhite lasting head. Coppery body. Fruity honeyish aroma with oily herbal buttery notes. Dry-sweet caramelly fruity earthy taste with funky herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Hot, slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Dry honeyish herbal caramel aftertaste with peppery fruity funky notes. Long bitter, alcoholic resiny fruity finish lingers. Faint butter notes, too. Excellent! Highly drinkable and full of flavour. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice herbal musky malt, lightly oxidized. In mouth, a nice crips malt with smooth herbal Belgian hops, nice and smooth. On tap at Delirium Café Hoppy Loft, July 13 2011.

Bouteille 75cl.
