Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Golden looks with a decent white head. Fragrant hop and citrus snout. Biscuity malts and zesty citrus in the light, clean and inoffensive flavour. Slid down perfectly well and reasonable enough session fodder.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours clear golden yellow, thick white head, nice lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and passionfruit. Taste brings a malt note... caramel sweet, but good hop bitterness. Clean finish, good.

Om tap at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a very slight haze. Nice head. Nose - herbs then semolina. Interesting. Taste - vegetal and citrus combined. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish though not as zingy as I’d expect from the style. Overall - a solid citizen.
