330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Lasting, creamy, tan-coloured head. Pitch black in the glass. Modest dark malty nose, mid-sweet. Mixed taste of chocolate, oat, and lactose backed by a coffee note towards the ending. Bittersweet end, lightly roasted. Well bodied. Pleasant (Enjoyed on a hotel room in Harstad 27.10.2016).

On tap. Cloudy, dark brown. Sweet aroma: vanilla, milk chocolate, a little coffee. Taste: juicy, chocolate, cream, velvety, sweet, mild bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at home. Dark brown pour with a medium height tan head. Roasted malts, burnt caramel, lactose, light smoke. Medium body and carbonation and a roasty sweet finish.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle poured into o a nonic. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is lactose, medium body, medium/light carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is lactose, chocolate, and oats.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvsn & rayaron. Black with a tan head. Roasty aroma with coffee, slightly vegetal. Sweet flavor with roast, coffee, caramel, lactose. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Milk chocolate, roasted malty, some coffee notes. Quite sweet, bit too sweet for me. Dry finish. Medium bodied. Easy drinkable.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 03/02/2019. dark brown color, big coffee colored head. smells quite earthy, light smoke, milky, light bacon, spices, hints of peat, light leathery. nice smell. medium to full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather leathery, earthy, light peat, a bit milky, spices, some ash, some earthy bitterness. lovely creamy mouthfeel, but also feels rather heavy (for the ABV). finishes rather earthy with a light bitterness and notes of coffee and spices. nice one, just a tad heavy but quite enjoyable.

33cl bottle. Pours almost black with a huge good lasting tan head. Aroma of roasted and sweet malt, chocolate, milk. Taste of sweet roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, nuts, milk, good!
