We fell in love with American Amber Ale whilst on a road trip in Colorado. Using just enough Cascade and Palisade for an exciting flavour and aroma, it's a balanced beer with warm complex malt. EBC: 30.

330ml can from Sourced Market, drunk on the train. Genuinely astonished at just how bad this is. I wanted to like Fourpure, but this is a questionable Euro-lager at best. Unpleasant malts and skunkiness. Ugh.

Can at home, 17th July 14. Dull amber ale, tiny, metallic taste, weak flavours. Not a great beer at all, still drinkable, but not up to my standard

Can from Sourced Market. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of Digestives and wood. Flavour of watery apple juice and cardboard. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. There’s definitely something not right with this.
