Tap. Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Hazy, very dark brown. Messy swirl of tan head. Nose has milky chocolate. Sweet, roast malts. Coffee grinds. Some coconut and almond. Taste is light, milky sweet, with some roast coffee, roast malt bitterness. Palate lets things down a bit. Light, and way too fizzy. Chocolate and coffee bitter finish.

Poured from keg at Junkyard, half-pint shared with Finn. Jet black body. Bright naked surface. Minimal lacing. Mocha smell, nicely roasted. Roasted black malty flavours with hints of cocoa and coffee. Prolonged ending. Likable mid-sweet stout (Saturday pub crawl in Nottingham 20.02.2016).
