Cloudy yellow, massive white head with lacings. Aroma is earthy, dusty, minerals, pepper, yeast, citrus and some banana in between. Taste is initially citrus and yeast up-front, moving to slightly more peppery feel (I guess it’s their use of Orval yeast), leading to a dry, medium bitter finish. Light to medium body, medium carbo, dry texture. The art of simplicity, very well balanced.

Bottled:
Hazy golden with a thick head.
Aroma is citrus peels, yeast and hops.
Taste is yeast, lime, lemons and a growing hoppiness. Well balanced and quite tasty.
I really like how the hoppiness sneaks up on you!

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av jäst, humle, örter, jord, honung, torkad frukt, citrus och bröd. Torr, lätt kropp, lagom sötma, fin beska. En aning svag i sin smakframtoning men på god väg att bli riktigt bra.

Bottle. Nose is grassy, hay, floral hoppy with a medicinal hint. Taste is grassy, soft gently fruity yeast, peach, herbal hops, sweet caramel, slight hint of mint. There is an emerging spiceyness in the dry finish, and there is a soft honey sweetness shot through the beer. This is a lovely example of a Belgian blonde.Edit: revisiting after some time and there is more banana, and vanilla in the soft fruity body. More funk than I recall. Outstanding

Blonde ale hovering between a normal session blonde and a tripel, with delicate, stable, snow white head and warm golden blonde colour with orange hue, clear but turning hazy and eventually fully clouded as the bottle is gradually emptied in the glass. Malty and fruity aroma, apple, orange, white candi sugar, straw, pineapple, yeast, some 'natural' iron. Pale malt sweetness, apple, drying in the course of the palate and ending in a mildly hopped finish with faint presence of alcohol.

750mL bottle, courtesy of tderoeck (thanks a lot, Tim), pours a golden cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral notes, Belgian yeast and hay. Flavour is vibrant and refreshing, with loads of refreshing wheat, Belgian yeast and floral qualities. Loads of depth with a dry palate. Very refreshing and high drinkability. Excellent stuff.

12/VI/14 - 75cl bottle from Geers or Hopduvel @ home, shared with McBerko - BB: XI/2014 (2014-619)

Little cloudy deep blond to orange beer, some small sediment floating around, creamy white head, pretty solid, bit adhesive. Aroma: spicy, some oranges, bit sweet, floral, some honey. MF: lively carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: soft bitterness, some citrus, floral, bit malty, fruity, little sugary. Aftertaste: nice gentle bitterness, bit floral, orange peel, fruity touch, bit grassy, soft sweetness, hint of sour. Remarkable Belgian beer!

Riktigt god.
