In the early days this was the last beer to be brewed before the warm summer season. It had an increased alcohol percentage so it would last longer. Regularly looking pint, white head. 300ml bottle. Golden body with a big off-white head. Aroma is fruity and clean malty. Refreshing, sweetish malty and light balanced bitter. Medium-plus body and tasteful finish. Refreshing, balanced and smooth.

Bottle. Nice straw/hay-coloured beer, white head. Nose of flowers, malts and some hops. Taste is sweet, but balanced by a nice bitterness. Very soft and highly drinkable. I’m not a fan of the style, but this one’s pretty good.

Bottle, shared by yespr. Clear, golden pour with a white head. Fruity, sweetish and malty nose. Quite pleasant, but nothing special. The flavor starts fruity, with a malty sweetness soon appearing, then some hermetized pear and citrus. Long, sweet finish with a nice, evident fruityness. Medium to full body. A nice Dutch bock. (Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear golden with a dense and lively, white head. Sweetish and rather clean malt aroma. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base and fresh fruity and flowery accents. There’s a discreet hop bite in the finish. In general very pleasant and drinkable. 051007

Courtesy of bierkoning. Clear golden apple juice -like color, small steady creamy white head. Fruity bubblegum aroma. Quite light - watery - palate. Flavor has apple, grassy hops, in the aftertaste some alcohol and spices. Could be more powerful, now quite bland. Someone here mentioned Leffe Blonde, actually a bit like watered version of it.
