Draft @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity piney grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit finish.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Pine, grapefruit, peach and a hint of toffee in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly sweet taste with peach, apricot, grapefruit, pine and toffee. Very easy to drink for being such a strong beer.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours clear medium orange with a small white ring of head and no lace. Aroma of lots of caramel, grapefruit, passion fruit, pine resin, pale pit fruit, a bit of a rubber off note too however. Palate sweet with pale and caramel malts, loaded with lots of hop oils giving citrus character with orange and grapefruit most noticable, pit fruit and tropical fruit, pine resin, alcohol, watermelon?. Finish is sweet with some caramel, fruits continue, bitterness is light given the weight of the beer, alcohol dries it, hints of that rubber off note alongside resinous flavours. Aftertaste dry and a bit astringent with alcohol heat. Big full body, almost syrupy with light but prickly carb. It does come across like a pretty sweet hop oil and booze blend but it’s quite good, just a little rough for hitting the absolute top of class.

From tap. Pours dense and orange, small white head. Aroma is dense hoppy and grapefruity. Bitter and solid hoppy. Dry and crisp bitter. Smooth fruity. Dense hoppy finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at laiti’s, thanks, 20150613) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had pine, grass, malts and mildly solvent. Palate was rather full bodied and somewhat warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, sweetness, grass, malt, resin and bitterness. Aftertastr was malty and bitter. A very balanced strong brew. Alcohol was well hidden. Well done brew.

33cl bottle, huge thanks Jookos. Deep golden, thin white head. Grapefruit, fruit salad, sweetness in aroma. Flavor has sweetness, fruity hops, alcohol, grapefruit. Not as good as the original, maybe too old bottle or too much alcohol pushing through.

Aroma has fruity hops, pineapple juice and some caramel tones. Flavour has grapefruity hops, pineapple juice, caramel and mild minerals & grassy tones. Quite nice drinkability for 12% – and alcohol does not come through. What witchcraft is this?
