Bottle 0.33l at Laiti’s, Helsinki. Thanks to FatPhil! Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, hints of pine, hops and malts. Can not compare to original notorious but overall very enjoyable and tasty.

330ml bottle, thanks Marduk

Pours clear dark orange with a tiny head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, fruity hops, citrus, pine, resin and hints of syrup. Taste is heavy, sweetish and massively hoppy with some fruity notes, booze, crisp hops, caramel, citrus, pine, grapefruit, resin and lemon. Finish is lingering bitter, massively hoppy, heavy and slightly boozy with some warming alcohol, caramely malts, toffee, syrup and loads of pine, citrus, grapefruit, lemon and resin. Heavy. Not quite as balanced as the original, but still very tasty. Leaves a nice hoppy feel to your mouth.

[5/2/15] Bottle sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. 4th session. Cloudy yellow. Great “green” and fruity hops aroma. Flavor has some sweetness, and nice bitter fruity hops. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

lots of golden amber color. Huge tropical fruits, pineapples mangos, sweetish nose but soooo heavenly. The nose is super heavy, sweet never cloying, tons of tropical fruit. So well made. Lovely.

Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015.

Keg at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, small head. Huge citrusy nose with lime, passionfruit and ccoconuts. Very sweet with full body and rounded, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Heavy and potent. Syrup, brandy and loads of tropical fruit hops. Warming finish where hop aromas rather than bitterness lingers. This may be in a style of beer I very seldom enjoy, but it’s an exception to that rule.

Tap @ Speakeasy, Tallinn. Pours amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is intense fruits, citrus, mango, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, mango, caramel, malt, alcohol. Finish is grapefruit-pine bitter with some alcohol. Overall: feels rough, but I still enjoyed it. Update: tried some bottles and it still rough around the edges, but for some reason I really really like it (it’s now my favorite Põhjala brew), so bump +2 to the overall.
