50cl bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust. Clear autumnal amber color, medium sized light beige head. Smell malts, butter. Taste malts, buttery, lightly bitter. Typical English style bitter. A bit dry finish, medium carbonation, low to medium body.

0.5l bottle. Another one from the Wychwood! This is a crystal clear champagne-brown beer with a little bubbly off-white head. It has a mild aroma that contains both soft caramel, some candy. Not much more I guess. It has a really shockingly thin and dull body, watery in texture and it's softly carbonated. The taste has elements of burned caramel and malts. Rather thin and for me a bit boring I guess, but definitely no off-flavors, and it's a solid bitter. However, not a really memorable beer. 20.07.2012

500ml bottle - ruby red body, thin white head. No real aroma, a bit hoppy, but not much. Slightly tangy, nothing special.

(bottle) Clear coppery mahogany colour with reasonable white head. Aroma is mainly hops; seaweed or hay with hints of caramel / malt. Light body with medium, somewhat fuzzy rather than smooth, carbonation. Flavour starts with restrained malt balanced by a bit of tanginess and some astringency from hops. The hop flavours build to a reasonable bitter finish, but the bitterness is somewhat harsh and metallic. Overal a easy drinking but fairly tasty beer.
