Pale, crisp and lightly aromatic. Firecatcher brings together the best of British barley and wheat. Warming hints of honeyed nectar spark the intense and sharp gooseberry flames. Light in body but pleasingly quenching. Catch one and put out the fire.

Klares Gold im Glas, Perlung und Schaum okay. In der Nase sehr süß. Im Trunk sehr dünn, Getreide, kaum Geschmack. Brauch ich nicht.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden, rich lively head. Vague fruity nose with a hint of citrus. Sweetish with very light body and clean mouthfeel. Some bread and grass, notes of cabbage. Fairly low bitterness. I would argue that this liquid is more likely to extinguish fires than to catch fire.

Biscuit malt and some citrus on the nose, maybe a touch of honey also, of this clear gold, frothy white headed ale. Kicks off with a slightly bitter hop bite, there’s a floral quality to the light malt flavour, and a dry finish. It’s not challenging, but decent enough and nicely refreshing

bottle, small bubbly head, clear and a tad deep gold color, skunky aroma with a touch of citrus and malt, fruity honey flavor with a bit of skunk and a medium strong herbal bitterness. feels a bit like a lager, highly drinkable but quite simple.

Bottle. Clear gold, small white head, circular retention. Aroma has that citra hops note (very earthy citrus like cats piss) which I dislike but its not overwhelming on this one. Taste is herbs and citrus, light bodied, refreshing. The bitterness and citrus notes in the finish is the best part of this. Its not bad for the £1 I paid of course but, on the other hand, although I've never had a bad Wychwood beer I've never had a very good one either.

Bottle that Mum & Dad bought and shared at the annual family picnic get-together. Gold with a middling white head and a light fizz. Lagery whiff; the flavours are lemon, green leaves and sweetish caramel malt. Just about ok.

12/7/2019. Bottle from Cotswold Vintners, Chipping Sodbury. Pours very pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of old hops, grain, citrus, grass and straw. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light body, watery and slightly oily texture, average carbonation. Disappointing.
