Pale, crisp and lightly aromatic. Firecatcher brings together the best of British barley and wheat. Warming hints of honeyed nectar spark the intense and sharp gooseberry flames. Light in body but pleasingly quenching. Catch one and put out the fire.

Clear, golden-orange colored, small+ off white head. Aroma is of malt, biscuity, some light citrus and fruity hops. Taste is medium-light sweet malt, biscuit, some citrus and fruity notes, bit orange, medium-light bitterness, dry finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation, watery. Not really something you think of when you hear Citra and Nelson...

It pours clear pale golden qith greenish blazes and a super short-lived off-white head. Aroma is cookies, bread, pine and some passionfruit. Fizzy, medium-bodied, bitterish. Medium persistence finish. So-so.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Golden with a small head. Juicy session textured golden ale, inoffensive, but not blessed with too much flavour.

Bottle from Morrisons Folkestone and drunk at home. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Drinkable enough. Some hop. Some sharp citrus. Some drinkability. I thought ok especially at low abv. Good bitterness on finish. Fine.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger frothy white head. Below average retention, however, leaving really nice lacing. Pleasant nose, nicely hopped with lots of fruitiness. Good malty caramel backbone paired with herbal notes. Medium body, softly carbonated. Average texture. Mild bittersweet taste. In fact, this ine is more on the sweet side. Aroma is medium to heavily malt, strong caramel and toffee flavors. Herbal and grassy. Earthy hops later on, some honey notes. Peppery. Regular finish. As it warms up, some weird and off-placed cooked vegetable flavors come up, not really fond of that. Overall, ok. Surprising amount of flavor for the low ABV. Personally, I’d prefer stronger hop character.
