Pale, crisp and lightly aromatic. Firecatcher brings together the best of British barley and wheat. Warming hints of honeyed nectar spark the intense and sharp gooseberry flames. Light in body but pleasingly quenching. Catch one and put out the fire.

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of malts, honey, citrus fruits and floral hops. Taste follows aroma. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Refreshing and surprisingly good and flavourful for its low abv!

Bottle at home. Far too weak in flavour and % and sweet. Might be better on cask.

Bottle. Asda. Clear gold. Bubbly, white head. Grassy, privet leaf hop on the nose. Some sickly sweet malts. Taste is metallic bitter. Damp cardboard dominates. Thin palate, that manages to be oily at the same time. Watery finish. A quid tick.

This was a bit of a revalation. Very low alcohol, but with a gentle fruitiness from the hops coming through. A nice mouthfeel with a good head.

Clear golden, moderate white head. Average retention. Hoppy citrusy aroma. Biscuit in the background. Light to medium body. Creamy palate. Dry hoppy taste. Floral, grassy. Biscuit malts as well. Light bitterness. Not that exciting still good for the ABV.

Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Off Licence, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a round white head. The aroma is buttery caramel, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a watery citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
