Pale, crisp and lightly aromatic. Firecatcher brings together the best of British barley and wheat. Warming hints of honeyed nectar spark the intense and sharp gooseberry flames. Light in body but pleasingly quenching. Catch one and put out the fire.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a decent lacy head. Nose - dusty malt bag. A wee bit of orange. Taste - orange and pale malt. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but unexciting.

50cl bottle from a local corner shop. A bright pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; some citrus aromas, but mainly smelling of over boiled hops; smooth in the mouth with a sweet honeyed body and a jammy fruity bitterness; then caramel and honey to finish. Not bad, but over pasteurised.
