Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Pours cloudy golden color with two fingers of frothy white head, excellent retention. Fruity, malty and spicy aroma. Fruity, banana, pear, citrus and cloves, light caramel, spicy yeasty flavor. Balanced higher bitterness. Medium-full body, medium carbonation, strong, light alcohol warmth and a dry finish.

Voor mij de allerbeste tripel die ik ken. Fles thuis maar van de tap mogelijk nog net even beter. Smaak is bitterzoet en krachtig met iets van sinaasappel, wat koriander en een lange afdronk. Geweldig bier.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. Le bollicine sono grandi. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, banana, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum e alcol presente.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is malt, spicy yeast, ripe fruits, mild floral touch, notes of citrus, apricot and sugars. Flavour is sugary sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Decent for the style, but nothing special.
