Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Bottle. Deep gold with a large white head that fades to a good inch and never disappears. Aroma of slightly honeyed spiced dough with lemon blossoms. Sweet at first first with pleasant bread and dough before firm and slightly harsh spicy bitterness that relaxed after a while and a swirl. Other aromatics got a bit lost. Not bad.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, color giallo smorto limpido, al naso lieviti belgi banana pera spezie esteri, in bocca frutta a pasta gialla marmellata di pesche pere mature, corpo leggero, carbonazione decisa, dolce con amaro moderato. Manca un po’ di corpo. E’ buona ma non entusiasma. c. Bottega della birra Arona 13.03.20

Slightly hazy deep golden colour, small frothy white head, slowly dissipating to thin layer with yeast circles, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, Belgian yeast, banana, peach, grain. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, yeasty, spicy (coriander), light banana, candy sugar, alcohol notes. Sweet and light bitter aftertaste, malty and grainy notes, medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Well-made, tasty, a few rough edges but overall a surprisingly good tripel.
