Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

(Bottle, 0.33 l -BB 03.01.2019, at Helsinki Beer Factory, 20190907) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, raisins and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, honey, raisins, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had honey, raisins and bitterness. A tasty tripel showing some oxidised notes.

Bière 75 cl ramenée par ma famille à un repas. Blonde avec une mousse blanche généreuse. Nez typique d'une triple, sur de la poire, des céréales, du sucre, sans intérêt particulier. En bouche, fruits blancs et poires, coté acidulé, un peu de céréales, tout ceci étant masqué par un goût métallique. Rien de bien folichon par ici!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with some candy sugar and some yeast. Taste is sweet with a medium bitter finish. It really reminded me of another Belgian tripel of which I cannot recall the name right now, maybe Tripel Karmeliet? Very Belgian and very well brewed. Great tripel.

Bottle. Color: Golden, white head. Aroma: Sweetish, malt, yeast, banana. Taste: Over medium sweet, yeast, banana. Boozy hints. Over medium body, average carbonation. Typical Belgium Tripel, ok but a bit too sweet for me.
