Our take on an American style IPA: pale, dry and very aromatic. The explosive hop profile comes from American varieties (among them Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra and Centennial) used at different stages of production that give back a unique bouquet with mango, apricot, peach and citrus overtones.

Tap at S.Martin. Golen color, light haze, big fine rocky white head, citrusy hoppy smell. Aroma hoppy, lots of citrus, orange, tangerine. Backed with pale malts. Taste is clean, quite bitter, balanced. Finish hoppy, resiny, fresh. Refreshing IPA, crisp, clean, nice.

Dec. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at Birra+, Rome. It poured a hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Lightly hoppy aroma, tropical fruit and citrus with quite strong vegetable note. Flavor was moderately to very bitter, sharp, dry hop dryness and that was pretty much it. Very light biscuit malt and fruity hop counterparts were almost completely burned up. Medium body impression with very long finish. It would be okay for hardcore dry IPAs lover if were not for the aroma. Anyhow, I believe it was not really the brewer's intention, rather something wrong happened in this batch. Will rerate when given opportunity.

Dark golden, fading into light copper. Average head, some lacing. Fresh grass/herbs and citrus aroma, reasonably fresh but not too vivid. Taste has light crackery malts, citrus notes and fresh grass. Moderate sweetness, obviously bitter finish and aftertaste, but not too much for the style. Light to medium body and crispness, quick and easy. No flaws and decently refreshing. Totally unremarkable.

330ml bottle [Thanks to Maddie for adding this one to the Berlin import!]. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with samll to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, fruity notes of orange, lemon zest, hints of mango and passion fruit, pale malty basis, a minimally floral touch. Taste is slightly floral, piney and slightly citrusy, bitter hoppy, minimally mineral, hints of lemon, lemon zest, orange zest, cautious hints of passion fruit. Clean and authentically American IPA.
