Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

Bottled 355ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, light caramel nose. Sweetish malty, caramel, stale herbal hops and dry bitterish finish. Not so fresh example.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, stone fruits, apricot, nectarine, peach, marmalade and bread. The taste is dry, bitter, resinous, apricot, peach, metallic tang, bread, cereal, wood and a touch of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. More of an old school US IPA. Fair.

Bottle at home. Bit unclear golden with white head. Big sweet malts, resin, caramel, biscuits, butter, pineapple. Big sweet and light bitterness. Medium body, buttery malty feel, soft carbonation. After closer inspection I think I’ve found what is the bottling date in tiny black letters on the brown glass: 06/04/15. Very sad, I bought this today. Wouldn’t have if I’d seen that.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours crisp gold with fluffy white foam, fine. Aroma is citrus, apricot and piney. Body is average, low carbonation. Taste is bitter, but delicate, and with some malt body. Finish is long and pleasant.
