Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

355 ml bottle, from Fakta Hirtshals. ABV is 7.0%. BB date 30.05.2014. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits and stale jam / marmalade. Fairly refreshing flavour, citrus and hints of spruce tips, hints of stale jam in the finish. Not bad, but probably better when fresh.

No date, but this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy to slight transparent yellow color. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about less than a minute. A film of sticky lacing clings nicely to the glass.
The smell calls upon a nice sweet to bitter spice but yet allows a decent sweet malt to balance. Light citrus intertwines.
The taste was sweet but bitter and balanced between the two. Light sweet citrus aftertaste with a sticky finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionable quality about it.
Overall, I dig it, though no date, I could definitely have again, I’m assuming this is somewhat fresh.

Still yet another 12 oz. bottle purchased at The Beer Store, Nashua NH. Clear amber / orange color, some light head. Aroma is mild tropical fruit and sweet malt.
This could be a victim of sitting to long or taking too long in transit. Another example of why IPA’s should be draft only for me unless it is local. Silly me… Mild tropical fruit, weak citrus with a large amount of sweet bread and caramel. Not much hop punch. Thinner body, standard Co2. If I ever see this on draft I will re-rate it. My impression is it feels like it is a shell of its former self.

(Bottle, 0.355 l, at Pikkulintu, 20141103) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium size and white. Aroma had mango, peach and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, mango, peach, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A tasty but too sweet brew.

Nice hazy golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Fruity, citrus and toffee. A bit over to the sweet side with an ok bitterness. Quite fresh flavor with citrus, tropical fruity and toffee.

Bottled@sbwf14, courtesy of Rick from Coronado brewing Co. Thanks! Ambered colored beer, white head. Tropical fruity aroma, mango, pineapples, citrus. Surprisingly light for the abv. Really fruity, high drinkability. Bitter bity finish.

Amber, with a slight haze. Light mango and tropical fruit hop. Sweet pale malt shows through more than hop, though some hop fruitiness comes in the finish. Low bitterness. Light IPA, lighter than I was expecting or hoping, so a bit of a letdown.
