Tap at Tre Sma Rum, Gothenburg. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is grassy nettle hop leading to a medium bitter flavour with a grass hop minty citrus pine bitter palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It travelled well to Sweden. A good session IPA.

I thought I did this one before, oh well, here goes. Big clear yellow pour from a bottle, but there is some sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Thin 1/4 inch head. Smell is fresh sharp IPA hops fer sure. First taste seem rather mild, just for a nano second then it pours on the bitter sharp bite, wew. Yes, big slap in face ensues. Not too sure what to think of this nasty mess, that is, a nasty mess for a lager lover. Way too much for my girlie taste buds. So bitter, it almost makes my gag reflexes kick in towards the end of the session. Did I say wew? Rototilling across my tongue wew? If there is any co2 in this, the taste was so distracting that I couldn’t recognize any.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has orange notes, pine cones and a faint maltyness. There’s lots of citrus in the flavor, with a nice bitterness and some malts. Full body, some warmth and a nice carbonation level. Mostly bitter finish, where there’s also some fruityness. A nice and tasteful IPA, although not the most complex one on the market. 140207

Bottle: Hazy, light, golden-yellow with a short, light vanilla head. Tropical/Floral hop scent. Flavour is pine, grapefruit, pineapple.... Bright, creamy... Nice.

Bottle bought @ systembolaget Nordstan. pours clear pale golden with a frothy white head that quickly dissiptes while leaving som sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity and herbal with crackers, pineapple, passionfruit, grapefruit juice, grass, pine, lemon zest, dried apricots and hints of glue. Taste is slightly sweet and fruity with crackers, bread, pine, grass, grapefruit juice, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, alcohol, overripe tropical fruits, red currants and hints of glue. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. finish is bitter with bread, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, pine, grass, red currants and overripe tropical fruits. Most likely much better served fresh.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized white head that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is spruce, some citrusy and floral hops as well as some slight caramelly notes. Flavour is fruity, floral and caramelly in a very nice balance. Nice crisp hoppy bite in the finish, but not overdoing the hops.
